Polar to stage demo day in Northampton on May 28

Polar, supplier of key industry brands to the installation, MI, and professional audio markets, will demonstrate its full portfolio at the Old Savoy Theatre in Northampton on May 28, 2025. Polar Expo, a day-long event for integrators, AV consultants, rental companies, sound engineers, and everyone passionate about technology, will present an opportunity to see, hear, and explore the Polar catalogue.

Last year, Polar staged a series of demo days for specific brands, including one at the Old Savoy for Turbosound, which drew plaudits from the wide range of audio professionals in attendance. Convinced by the success of the format, which gives visitors a real-world, hands-on experience of products, Polar Sales Manager Andy Plunkett will host Polar Expo, the company’s largest demo day to date.

“Our previous brand-focused events have proven so successful, it seemed to make perfect sense to go ahead with a day that showcases our entire portfolio”, says Plunkett. “The Main Theatre comfortably allows us to demonstrate high performance loudspeaker ranges from HK Audio, Turbosound, Tannoy, Pan Acoustics, and Atlas, so whether specifying for a large auditorium, place of worship, or flexible performance venue, visitors can hear exactly how the systems perform in a space designed to put them to the test.”

“In the adjoining Dore Suite, we’ll be exhibiting the ‘behind the scenes tools’ with a comprehensive collection of audio, video, control, and processing technologies from AMX, ArtSound, AtlasIED, Avonic, Beyerdynamic, ClearOne, Lab Gruppen, MC2, Midas, Primacoustic, Xilica, and Radial”, he adds. “The event will provide an excellent opportunity for visitors to experience performance in action, discuss technical features in detail, and gain insights into the ways in which Polar’s portfolio is a one-stop shop for any and every live event and installation solution.”

Polar Expo will be divided into morning and afternoon demonstrations with a light lunch available for those in attendance at either or both of those sessions, adding a networking opportunity to the day’s proceedings.
