New Ultimate Support mic stand available

Ultimate Support Systems’ new VMC-T-T Venue Mic Stand is now shipping. According to the manufacturer, it has been designed in direct response to requests from venues, production companies and touring crews around the world, and brings Ultimate Support’s design to the traditional height boom microphone stand format.

Among the latest enhancements are a larger barbell and extended post, allowing for adjustments without impacting other knobs on the stand, as well as additional improvements to the physical construction.

The stand’s classic barbell-style control provides torque when adjusting the 18.75- to 31.25-inch boom. The handle provides the required grip for on-the-fly positioning, while the quarter-turn clutch ensures quick height adjustments.

Comprised of black powder-coated steel, the durable stand features a locking leg base and a collapsible design that allows it to fold down to a compact size (38.25 by 3.5 inches) for road-ready use.
