Elation reimagines Blinder potential with new SOL II and SOL IV

Elation has launched two additions to the SOL Blinder series: the SOL II  and SOL IV - equipped with the same RGBLAW LED engine and accepting the same front lens accessories as the SOL I Blinder. With ultra-bright 2- and 4-cell configurations, the SOL II and SOL IV represent the next evolution in the SOL series.

Both fixtures feature RGB+Lime+Amber+White LED engines with 93+ CRI and an IP65 rating. The SOL II’s two 350 W LED engines radiate a combined 30,750 lumens of output, while the SOL IV takes it up a notch with four 350 W engines delivering 59,830 lumens. Whether used as standalone units or integrated into larger lighting designs, both fixtures are suitable for almost any lighting setup.

The SOL II Blinder doubles the creative punch with two fixtures in one modular unit, offering greater flexibility for creative configurations and designs. Maintaining all the innovative features of the SOL I Blinder, its housing allows seamless connection on all sides for expansive lighting arrays, custom shapes, and versatile effects panels.

The SOL IV Blinder, with its grid of four fixtures, pushes the creative boundaries even further. Like the SOL I and SOL II, the SOL IV offers the same technology and LED engine but with more significant creative potential through its multi-fixture design. It can be interconnected in endless configurations with additional SOL IV units, as well as the SOL I and SOL II models.

Both models come equipped with fully variable 16-bit color temperature adjustment (1800 K - 8500 K), along with dim-to-warm and redshift emulation. CMY emulation and a virtual gel library help accessing vibrant LED colors and pre-mixed shades, while advanced dimming curves and strobe effects further enhance creative control.

Optional lens accessories, including a Bowens mount adapter, allow for more aesthetic options and creative impact, and the fixtures offer a variety of mounting options and integrate seamlessly into indoor or outdoor environments.
