Cinionic and Cineplexx introduce first all-laser theater chain in Austria

Cinionic - a Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture - announces a strategic relationship with Austrian cinema chain Cineplexx (Cineplexx Kinobetriebe GmbH) and CinemaNext, a European specialist in cinema exhibitor services, to power the first all-laser theaters in Austria.

Cineplexx will install the new Barco Series 4 and Barco Laser portfolio from Cinionic. The first all-laser theaters will deliver projection across all formats. In close collaboration with CinemaNext’s Austrian company, Cinionic will roll out its services and all-laser solutions with Cineplexx over the next three years.
