Newly launched Sixty82 exhibits at Prolight + Sound 2018

Innovators from three countries, with over 100 years of entertainment industry leadership between them, have come together to form Sixty82, a new company which engineers and manufactures next generation trussing and staging systems. With headquarters in Drachten, Netherlands, Sixty82 is a British, Dutch and French alliance designed specifically to bring a fresh view onto the market.

The company founders include Fokko Smeding (Sixty82’s CEO, having been the founder and long-time managing director of Prolyte), Marc Hendriks (Sixty82’s Technical Director, he joined Prolyte in the early ‘90s), Adrian Brooks (founder of Astralite), Lee Brooks (previously CEO of Prolyte, now CEO of Production Park), Xavier Drouet (CEO of Axente), Jérome Bréhard (General Manager of Axente), and Alain-René Lantelme (Deputy General Manager of Axente).

Building on industry standard compatibility, Sixty82’s products are designed to incorporate individual product personality with the SixtyTag RFID-tagging system. Product personality means that every part can be traced back to exact manufacturing data, and that supplementary technical and user information - and a ‘Build in AR’ 3D render to aid fast and efficient logistical handling - can be accessed on site using the SixtyAp.

Sixty82 will exhibit for the first time at Prolight + Sound 2018, Frankfurt (10-13 April), in Hall 3.0 Stand E71.
