Elation Professional invited lighting professionals to their stand at PLASA Focus Leeds for a look at a line-up of new lighting solutions that included three new product series. On display May 10-11 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, England, were Elation’s new Fuze Series, a dynamic range of LED wash luminaires with single-lens RGBW COB LEDs for a wide choice of colors. Available in moving head or IP65-rated PAR versions, all Fuze Series fixtures (Fuze PAR Z60, Fuze PAR Z120, Fuze Wash Z120, Fuze Wash Z350) house a 5-50-degree zoom.

Also shown was the DTW Series, a new variable white LED series of products designed specifically for the broadcast and video market. DTW Series fixtures are color temperature adjustable and can emulate the “dim to warm” look of conventional tungsten/halogen fixtures. The ZCL Series, a new family of high-output LED effect lights with RGBW multi-chip and Zooming Collimator Lens system for high-performance effect lighting for stages and clubs, was also featured.

Elation also showed a new, 7-color wash luminaire, the Platinum Seven, which houses 19x 25 W multi-chip LEDs. It also features a 5° to 50° zoom, 3x pixel ring control and advanced low-noise cooling and movement control systems. The theatre-style TVL Cyc RGBW cyclorama wash luminaire was also shown. It houses a 150 W COB RGBW LED engine and delivers a field of blended colors onto cycloramas, backcloths, scenery or any surface.

Elation’s X-Series of hybrid fixtures were represented in the form of the Platinum FLX and mid-sized Platinum HFX moving heads. The LED-based Satura Profile CMY color mixing moving head with framing was also on show as was the compact Emotion moving head digital light.
